We took off from Boston the day after Columbus Day and drove towards the Mohawk trail. From there we headed north through Vermont's Green Mountains. Then took a sharp right and did New Hampshire's Kancamagus highway.br/After North Conway, we flew ( literally, in the Ferrari! ) towards Bar Harbor. Three days later we were heading back home, driving through Camden, Belfast, Wiscasset and a final night stay in Boothbay Harbor. Eight days, two days of downpours and 1300 miles.br/The old faithful horse ( my old Ferrari ) took a beating on the back roads of Maine but never missed a beat ( and beat quite a few cars! ). She didn't appreciate my leaving her outside in 24 degree weather. That never occurs in Italy!
